The successful candidate will design and implement security controls throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), conduct detailed threat modeling and risk assessments for critical applications, and deliver application security training and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities:

  1. Secure Software Development: Technical implementation of application security initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational security strategy
  2. Embed Security in SDLC: Design and implement security controls throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  3. Threat Assessment: Conduct detailed threat modeling and risk assessments for critical applications
  4. Security Training: Deliver application security training and mentor junior team members

Key Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
  • Certifications: Industry certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, GWAPT, OSCP, CKS preferred

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Container Technologies: Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
