Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Elicitation and Analysis:

  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand needs, objectives, and challenges in the CIB Operations strategy.
  • Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows to optimize efficiency.
  • Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for technology teams.

Solution Design:

  • Work with technology teams to design innovative solutions aligned with business needs and organizational goals.
  • Propose practical solutions addressing business challenges in line with strategic objectives.
  • Ensure proposed solutions align with technological capabilities and business requirements.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to facilitate effective planning and coordination.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to various audiences, including stakeholders and project managers.

Documentation and Project Management:

  • Create detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories to maintain accurate project records.
  • Maintain up-to-date project documentation throughout the project lifecycle to ensure smooth progress and identify potential risks.
  • Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and assist in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation.

Quality Assurance and Process Improvement:

  • Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and validation of implemented solutions to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Ensure delivered solutions meet specified requirements and are of high quality, and identify areas for process optimization and efficiency enhancement.
  • Recommend process improvements and assist in their implementation to optimize business processes and improve efficiency.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize transformation initiatives aligned with CIB Operations strategy and translate CIB Operations and business strategies into work packages.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to mobilize solutions and prepare for the execution of prioritized initiatives, and adopt and optimize efficient use of tools, mechanisms, and frameworks across projects.
  • Coordinate identification and evaluation of solutions using objective data for value realization, and provide input and influence verification of business cases and business priorities.
  • Facilitate effective planning for prioritized initiatives, ensuring proper time and coordination of resources, and coordinate and manage delivery of initiatives by monitoring progress and removing blockers.

Qualifications:

  • Education: First Degree, NQF Level 7, or equivalent relevant experience (Required)
