Human Resources Assistant

At Career Custodians, we are seeking a dedicated and organized HR Administrator to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Maintain positive relationships with managers and team members, promoting a positive work environment.
- Assist with maintaining employee files, legislative aspects, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Participate in HR networks and community programs, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Run the induction program for new hires, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
- Track and capture HR Status forms, and assist managers with completion.
- Follow COIDA cases from submission to completion, maintaining accurate records.
- Assist management with EE, Skills Development, and BBBEE statutory compliance.
- Compile minutes, and assist in the development of company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Applicable tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Organizational/Industrial Psychology.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position.
- Familiarity with HR legislation and amendments, including Sectoral Determination 6 and 14.
- Familiarity with PSiber/HRIS systems is highly advantageous.
