**Senior Director: Stellenbosch Business School**

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to join our team as Senior Director of Stellenbosch Business School. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving academic excellence and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. **Academic Leadership**: Provide strategic direction and leadership to our academic teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs and research.
  2. **Strategic Management**: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance our reputation.
  3. **Talent Management**: Attract, manage, and retain top talent, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  4. **Partnerships and Collaborations**: Establish and maintain strong partnerships with industry leaders, governments, and other stakeholders to drive business growth and academic excellence.
  5. **Communication and Interpersonal Skills**: Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and external partners.
  6. **Business Acumen**: Possess a deep understanding of the business community, with the ability to analyze complex business problems and develop innovative solutions.
  7. **Inclusivity and Diversity**: Embody a culture of inclusivity and diversity, promoting a work environment that values and respects the contributions of all individuals.
  8. **Travel and Representation**: Represent the University at national and international forums, conferences, and events, promoting our brand and reputation.

**Term of Appointment**: The successful candidate will be appointed for a five-year term, with the possibility of re-appointment for another term. Upon successful completion of the term(s), the incumbent will have the opportunity to take up an academic appointment within the School.

**Selection Criteria**: Applicants are expected to demonstrate a strong track record of academic leadership, strategic management, and business development. They should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
