MAC Assistant Retail Manager

Job Summary:

The Assistant Retail Manager will work closely with the Retail Manager to maintain the effective operation of the store. They will motivate the team to achieve sales and productivity goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service to the team.

Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively.

Ensure high levels of customer service are provided by staff, resulting in increased productivity.

Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash counts, deposits, shift management, and other tasks in accordance with company policies.

Coach, train, motivate, and lead by example in sales, application technique, and image.

Communicate effectively with the Retail Manager, staff, and partners.

Serve as a resource for general product knowledge to all customers and staff members.

Track retail sales against goals using the provided system.

Assist as directed by the Retail Manager or Marketing Department.

Utilize and maintain the customer database for phone calls, product launches, events, and appointments.

Assist in the preparation and completion of accurate physical inventory cycle counts as requested.

Follow and implement all corporate visual presentation standards and guidelines.

Assist in the flow of merchandise from stock areas to the selling floor in a timely and organized manner.

Display good time management and effectively prioritize tasks.

Ensure the smooth running of the counter when the Retail Manager is not present.

Ensure all stock holding areas are tidy, levels are appropriate, and stock is properly rotated.

Perform other duties as required.

Enforcement of Company Policies & Maintenance of Standards:

Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Provide direction and give feedback to store management regarding staff performance.

Requirements:

Grade 12

Experience as a MAC Supervisor preferred.

Passion for Artistry

2-3 years supervisory/management experience in a retail environment

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Computer literate – MS Office
