Job Title: Quality Assurance Director

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Director to lead our quality management team. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for promoting quality throughout our operations by ensuring compliance to an effective quality management system.

  • Promote quality throughout our operations by ensuring compliance to an effective quality management system.
  • Develop and manage strategic quality objectives to drive continuous improvement and excellence in quality management.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Manage and maintain quality systems and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to legislation, policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Maintain a positive working environment that fosters innovation and improvement mindset.

In order to excel in this role, you should have at least 5-7 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the food industry. You should also possess relevant certifications such as HACCP, Total Quality Management, and ISO standards. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential for this position.

Requirements:
  • BSc degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Food Science/Food Technology.
  • Diploma in Food Science/Food Technology.
  • Total Quality Management Certificate.
  • HACCP Certificate.
  • Management Certificate.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience after qualification.
  • Relevant additional management/specific system training.
  • Attention to detail.

Salary:

The salary for this position is estimated to be around R800,000 - R1,200,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
