Accounting Job in Midrand

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Midrand.

The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in a similar environment and a BCom Accounting Degree.

The role involves managing the full accounting function, including trial balance, management statement compilation, cashbook maintenance, debtors and creditors management, costing and revenue analysis.

You will also be responsible for subcontractor reconciliations, payment of creditors and salaries, depreciation of assets, VAT account and import VAT account reconciliations.

In addition, you will prepare tax returns, NAMRA tax returns, product costing (BOM calculation and verification), and identify cost saving initiatives.

A valid driver's license and own vehicle are essential for this position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Full accounting function, including trial balance, management statement compilation.
  • Cashbook maintenance, debtors and creditors management.
  • Costing and revenue analysis, subcontractor reconciliations.
  • Payment of creditors and salaries, depreciation of assets.
  • Reconciliations of VAT account and import VAT account.
