At Happy Elephant, we are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Deskside Technician, you will provide top-notch IT support to our end-users, ensuring that their technical issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
This role requires a candidate with excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will be the face of our company, representing us at our clients' locations and providing expert technical guidance to ensure seamless IT operations.
About the Role- Job Title: Deskside Technician
- Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
You will be responsible for:
- Providing client-specific IT support, troubleshooting technical issues, and resolving problems within the agreed-upon timeframe.
- Solving customer support issues by visiting clients' locations, which may involve supporting multiple facilities.
- Collaborating with our Service Desk and other support teams to deliver high-quality IT services that meet our clients' expectations.
- Ensuring basic PC support knowledge and experience with common support tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and Symantec Endpoint Protection software.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- English fluency and local language proficiency.
- 2-3 years of experience in an IT support role, with a focus on hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to diagnose complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with non-technical stakeholders and resolve technical issues.
