Main Responsibilities:
  • Create high-quality content for various digital platforms, including websites, social media, emails, and newsletters.
  • Edit and refine existing content to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Establish and maintain editorial guidelines to ensure all content adheres to brand voice, style, and tone.
  • Cross-functionally collaborate with marketing, product, and executive teams to develop messaging for campaigns and initiatives.
  • Conduct research on target audiences to refine messaging strategies and better connect with intended demographics.
  • Optimize content for digital platforms, leveraging SEO best practices to increase reach and effectiveness.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing content writing.
  • Direct marketing experience is preferred.
  • Email marketing experience is also desirable.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work well under pressure, with knowledge in optometry/ophthalmology being a plus.
  • Ability to craft compelling, concise social media content using promotional language.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex topics in relatable and understandable ways.
  • Strong research skills and proficiency in SEO.
  • Experience using content management systems and managing/editing websites (WordPress).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Drive (Documents, Sheets, etc.).
  • Well-organized, able to multitask, and possesses excellent time management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communication, marketing, or a relevant field.
What We Offer

We provide a full-time, remote position with a competitive salary of $85,000-$100,000 per year, depending on experience. The working hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM EST, Monday to Friday.
