Key Responsibilities- Design and Engineering: Design and engineer electrical systems for renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and battery storage.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and other engineers to ensure successful project completion.
- Site Visits and Planning: Conduct site visits to assess electrical requirements and develop plans for equipment layout and construction.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize software programs such as AutoCAD for design and modeling purposes.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and standards, and prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications for clients and internal use.
- Procurement Support: Support procurement activities by identifying and evaluating potential equipment options and suppliers.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design.
- Skills: Proficiency with AutoCAD and other relevant software programs like XGSlab and Digsilent, experience in problem-solving and analyzing complex engineering data.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset, ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced work environment.
