Human Resources Coordinator

MPRTC is seeking a highly organized and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in the East Rand region. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding new hires.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment: Source, screen, interview, and onboard new hires, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Proactively identify and attract top talent aligned with the company's needs, utilizing various channels and networks.
- Coordinate job postings, candidate communication, and interview scheduling, maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Maintain and update recruitment databases and reports, providing valuable insights for future improvements.
- Manage logistics, including ordering staff uniforms and coordinating HR events.
- Organize and participate in initiatives to foster a positive company culture, promoting a collaborative work environment.
- Source and manage departmental stationery supplies, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Compile HR statistics and generate ad-hoc reports as needed, providing actionable data for decision-making.
- Provide administrative support to the HR Generalist, including scheduling meetings, maintaining HR files, and handling document flow.
- Stay informed on HR policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality and upholding company values.
- Contribute to a positive and professional work environment by demonstrating empathy towards colleagues and adhering to company standards.
- Education: Completed HR Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in HR administration or recruitment (or a combination of both).
- Skills and Abilities:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive and results-oriented approach with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Adaptable and able to operate efficiently under pressure.
- Strong ethical values and a commitment to confidentiality.
- Demonstrated empathy and ability to build positive relationships.
Must be residing in the East Rand region.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is R250,000 - R300,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid leave.
