We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven sales professional to join our team as a Business Development Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities that drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify potential customers through research and outreach efforts
  • Nurture relationships with key decision-makers by providing exceptional customer service and product expertise
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches, proposals, and contracts
  • Closing deals and exceeding sales goals

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in external sales hunting
  • Focused on new business development and B2B sales in a corporate setting
  • Strong network of contacts in Logistics, Cold Chain Logistics, Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, Car Rental, Mining, or Transport
  • Experience in SaaS/ICT/IT/Technology/Telecoms or solution sales focused on new business
  • Track record of success in cold calling and pipeline growth with strong closing ratios and measurable sales figures
  • Proficient in software solutions and tech-driven sales
  • Valid driver's license, South African ID, and a solid B2B sales history
