Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at H&S Labour Brokers. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the freight and logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Lead Generation and Prospecting: Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital marketing efforts.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations.
  • Proposal Development and Presentation: Develop compelling proposals and presentations that articulate our services, capabilities, and competitive advantages.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and revenue targets using CRM software or other relevant tools.
Requirements:
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management within the freight and logistics industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, and supply chain management processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools.
