Required Qualifications


• Matriculation Certificate (Grade 12/Standard 10/NQF 4)

Experience Requirements


• At least 5 years of experience in short-term insurance

• A minimum of 5 years in Claims handling

• At least 3 years in Claims Investigations

• Strong understanding of claims systems and procedures, including investigations and legal processes

• Experience in both Commercial and Personal line Claims is essential

Key Responsibilities


• Overseeing the validation process for both commercial and personal line claims across various skill sets.

• Achieving departmental goals and targets set for the Investigations team.

• Managing assigned claims and related tasks effectively.

• Setting and managing expectations for clients and brokers.

• Ensuring adherence to timelines for claims processing.

• Building and maintaining relationships with Brokers from a Claims perspective.

• Demonstrating knowledge of Broker procedures.

• Cultivating positive working relationships with Underwriters.
