Job Title: ICT Manager

CTU Career Chatz is seeking a dynamic and experienced ICT Manager to lead its technology operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and technical skills to manage systems, infrastructure, and teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Define technology delivery structures and roles.
  2. Establish cadences for technology delivery.
  3. Manage performance of IT/ICT staff, including training and mentorship.
  4. Oversee project management, including definitions, timelines, and tracking.
  5. Develop, monitor, and report on the IT/ICT budget.
  6. Maintain strong vendor management.
  7. Handle problem and incident management.
  8. Manage hardware and software lifecycle.
  9. Create and enforce documentation and policies.
  10. Ensure IT/ICT integration into all aspects of the business.

Technical Delivery:

  1. Ensure availability, performance, security, and ease of use for internal systems and infrastructure.
  2. Oversee unified communications and datacentre contracts.
  3. Direct higher-tier support for Microsoft 365, Mountain Box/OpnSense NGFWs, Ubiquiti Network Solutions, and Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Server.
  4. Own and enforce the internal system security policy, data governance, and compliance.
  5. Develop and implement Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans.
  6. Conduct monthly reporting to Directors on IT/ICT activities, issues, and achievements.
  7. Own the cybersecurity function for the organization.
  8. Lead interoffice communication and programme management of the Internal Systems Roadmap.
  9. Manage procurement and deployment of end-user devices.

Health and Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation, prioritizing the safety of self and others in all technology interactions.

Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years in a technical lead or senior technical role.
  • 3+ years of experience managing Microsoft 365 (certifications preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in mid-tier enterprise networking (certifications preferred).
  • 2+ years in systems and platform security (certifications preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in a management role, including experience with Agile development and product management methodologies.
  • Proven success in influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrable success in change management within a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Mentorship skills, with the ability to develop junior team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, particularly in translating technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
