Senior Inbound Travel Consultant

West Coast Personnel is seeking a highly skilled Senior Inbound Travel Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for crafting unforgettable journeys throughout Southern Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and arrange comprehensive travel itineraries for individual and group clients across Southern Africa.
  • Conduct detailed assessments of agents' needs to deliver high-quality, tailored services.
  • Create and compile imaginative B2B quotations and itineraries.
  • Manage rooming lists, release dates, and ensure precise completion of all quotations.
  • Maintain effective communication with agents throughout the quotation process and follow up to secure confirmations.
  • Issue and manage invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment terms.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive rates and ensure compliance with booking and cancellation policies.
  • Coordinate with the operations team to manage ground services and ensure timely delivery of finalized itineraries and hotel vouchers.
  • Provide regular updates to the Managing Director and address client inquiries promptly.
  • Promote products and services to enhance guest experiences and conduct thorough destination research.

Essential Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Qualification in Tourism.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Senior Inbound Consultant.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and multitasking ability.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons and handle emergencies.
