Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Job Summary:

Emporium Human Capital is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services from suppliers, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement and Sourcing:
    • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure they meet our quality and pricing standards.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best possible prices.
    • Manage the procurement process from start to finish, including requisitioning, ordering, and receiving goods.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the right products in stock at the right time.
    • Conduct regular stock takes to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
  • Supply Chain Coordination:
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that procurement needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Liaise with suppliers to resolve any issues or concerns related to delivery, quality, or pricing.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Provide regular reports on procurement activity, including spend analysis and supplier performance.
    • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in the procurement process.

Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills. The successful candidate will be required to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
