Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Analyst to join our IT department at Clicks Group Limited. This role will be based at our Head Office in Cape Town and will report directly to the Service Centre Supervisor/Manager (IT).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide telephonic and email support to users, ensuring prompt resolution of IT incidents and service requests.
- Accurately record, assign, escalate, and track all incidents and service requests, taking ownership from initiation to closure.
- Deliver dynamic first-line technical support to restore IT services within agreed service levels, engaging professionally with business users and vendors.
- Ensure effective resolution of IT-related incidents and service requests with high customer satisfaction.
- Perform standby work from time to time in the IT Service Centre.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge of Information Systems.
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of governance framework.
- Knowledge of customer service and incident management processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical and technical computer skills.
Education and Experience
- Matric / Grade 12.
- 2-3 years of experience in an IT Service/Call Centre environment.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- IS or IT Diploma.
- MCDST (A, ITIL, HDI).
