Job Summary

We seek a highly motivated and organized Assistant Group Reservations Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our reservations department, you will play a pivotal role in managing group bookings, coordinating with internal departments, and driving revenue optimization strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management and coordination of group bookings, ensuring accurate communication between clients and internal departments.
  • Assist in handling inquiries, processing reservations, updating records, and maintaining accurate group details.
  • Collaborate with the revenue team to ensure pricing and availability align with hotel objectives, promoting revenue growth and maximizing occupancy.
  • Liaise with tour operators, corporate clients, and event planners to confirm booking details and facilitate smooth group operations.
  • Act as a secondary point of contact for group clients before, during, and after their stay, ensuring exceptional guest service and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in hotel reservations, hotel front office, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in hotel reservations systems, Opera preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy in handling bookings and contracts, and ability to work under pressure.
