Job Summary:
The Strategic Human Resources Advisor will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. This includes developing and implementing policies and procedures, managing employee relations, and overseeing recruitment and retention initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements;
- Provide expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters to management and employees;
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions;
- Oversee recruitment and retention initiatives to attract and retain top talent;
- Maintain accurate records and reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation;
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement business strategies.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent qualification;
- At least 5 years of experience in Bargaining Council/CCMA and/or HR Management;
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in English;
- A strong analytical mind and problem-solving ability;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary package, ranging from R800,000 to R1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical aid, retirement fund, and annual leave.
