Job SummaryThe successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing strategic people initiatives that drive business growth, improve employee engagement, and enhance our company culture.
Main Responsibilities- Collaborate with senior leaders and line managers to develop and execute people strategies that align with our business goals and objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor and provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and career development.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring the selection of top-quality candidates who fit our company culture and values.
- Coordinate and administer the onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new and departing employees.
- Proactively address performance issues and provide coaching and support to improve employee performance and engagement.
- Work closely with the learning and development team to identify training and development needs and develop and deliver appropriate programs.
- Assist in the implementation of employee engagement initiatives to drive a culture of motivation, teamwork, and high performance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and employment legislation to ensure compliance and recommend improvements to HR processes and policies.
- Participate in the budgeting process and monitor spending to ensure effective allocation of resources.
- Bachelor's degree in HR management, business administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CIPD or SHRM would be an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR roles, with specific experience in the FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation, and industry trends within the FMCG sector.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and employee engagement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset with a track record of delivering impactful HR strategies and initiatives.
- Proficiency in HR information systems, MS Office, and other relevant software applications.
We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, pension scheme, and annual leave.
