Job Summary

TalentCru is seeking a highly skilled NOC Back Office Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the full availability and accessibility of all NOC systems for efficient and uninterrupted operation of our Network Operation Centre (NOC).

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and train new monitoring systems, as well as enhance and upgrade existing systems.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal employees and contracted vendors on monitoring system issues.
  • Generate, analyze, and report on NOC systems performance, including uptime and data management.
  • Research and implement improvements to operational procedures, policies, and network management tools/systems.
  • Analyze fault resolution processes and develop scripts and reports.
  • Optimize, develop, and create permanent and ad hoc reports.
  • Provide support for NOC Teams in resolving complex faults and providing lasting solutions.
  • Ensure optimal performance of all monitoring and performance management tools while meeting aggressive deadlines and regularly communicating status of troubleshooting, administrative, and project efforts.
  • Plan for training on NOC systems and ensure all NOC staff are fully trained on all NOC systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a NOC environment.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Assertive, self-starter, proactive, innovative, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication, able to manage internal and external teams.
  • Numerical reasoning with analytical thinking and strategic insight, proficient in problem solving, and able to navigate through difficult business situations.
  • Strong report writing skills with advanced understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project accounting or purchasing management experience.
