Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile and issue requests for quotations and tenders to suppliers and service providers.
  • Adjudicate and evaluate quotations based on price, deliverables, quality, and payment structures, and negotiate with selected suppliers and/or service providers.
  • Produce and administer purchase orders.
  • Perform other relevant procurement-related tasks as requested by the department head.
  • Assist with the preparation, optimization, and organization of all procurement activities on customer projects/orders.
  • Assist with identification and sourcing of project-related suppliers and service providers.
  • Assist with contract and/or purchasing negotiations and risk evaluations.
  • Prepare commercial bid evaluations to record award decisions on purchasing activities.

Requirements:

  • Matric qualification.
  • Procurement qualification will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • SAP or similar experience.
  • Experience with technical products.
  • Background in the Engineering/Oil and Gas industry.

What We Offer:

A 12-month fixed-term contract with a market-related salary.
