Main Purpose of Job:

  • Engage with external customers to provide exceptional service and build strong relationships.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets set by the Line Manager, ensuring a profitable parts department.
  • Ensure the availability and timely delivery of correct parts to customers.
  • The key performance indicator for this role is profitable sales to parts and accessories customers.
  • All OEM orders require a full deposit to be made.
  • Regularly follow up with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Provide expert advice on product knowledge to customers.
  • Understand and meet/exceed client requirements and expectations in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accurate and timely supply of parts to customers.
  • Prioritize customer requirements and deliver exceptional service.
  • Build strong relationships with customers through positive communication and feedback.
  • Experience in sales is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent customer service skills are essential.
  • Strong verbal communication skills are required to effectively engage with customers.
  • Three to five years of experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Visit assigned customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Plan and forecast sales goals to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Work independently to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.

Main Job Functions:

  • Understand and meet client needs and requirements in a timely manner and supply correct parts.
  • Check stock availability and provide feedback to customers within an hour.
  • Locate parts required and deliver them in a timely manner, and identify parts not in stock and commission sales.
  • Provide quotations to customers in a timely and accurate manner and follow up on lost quotes.
  • Order parts with the authority of the Parts Manager.
  • Resolve customer queries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Meet and exceed agreed sales targets.
  • Follow up with clients and back orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Provide friendly, polite, and courteous service to all customers.
  • Develop yourself to provide customer satisfaction, gain product knowledge, improve skills and attitude, and set a good example for fellow employees.
  • Cross departmental disciplines to ensure seamless service delivery.
