Marketing Manager Job Description

Amazon Commercial Services (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd - N09 is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to join our team. As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of business goals, effective people coordination, and raising the bar for Events and deals quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the growth of existing deal events and identify improvement levers.
  • Improve existing processes and initiate new tools/processes to drive automation for our events and offerings.
  • Conduct ongoing deal selection quality checks and identify optimization potential for our customers across teams.
  • Coordinate all departments and stakeholders teams that take part in the event creation process.
  • Coordinate and further develop existing tracking and reporting tools and training across teams.
  • Perform ongoing performance analysis of current and past deal events, driving action plans and driving these to make it happen at senior management level.
  • Manage the end-to-end coordination and execution of deal events.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data.
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion.
  • Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using customer research, hard data, and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs.
  • Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation.
