Job Summary

Value Logistics seeks a skilled Returns Coordinator to supervise dispatch processes and staff in the dispatch area. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement standard operating procedures to ensure correct returns processing.
  • Familiarize yourself with various business systems to improve efficiency.
  • Investigate discrepancies in documentation and products as needed.
  • Communicate issues with customers when necessary.
  • Resolve all queries within 24 hours.
  • Escalate unresolved queries to respective managers.
  • Manage the WIP report on a daily basis.
  • Maintain accurate documentation control and up-to-date filing.
  • Verify stock at the returns area against returns documentation to confirm accuracy.
  • Escalate identified discrepancies to respective managers or supervisors.
  • Handle products with care to maintain their condition and packaging.
  • Inspect collections as per Freightware manifest.
  • Ensure stock is correctly located according to system requirements.

Health and Safety, Quality, and KPIs:

  • Raise NCRs/NCPs and IOs daily.
  • Closure of NCRs/NCPs and IOs within required lead times (5 working days).
  • Maintain health and safety standards.
  • Perform monthly checks as needed.
  • Regular housekeeping maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) certification.

Skills:

  • Literacy skills.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Able to read stock labels.
  • Ability to inspect stock and documentation.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies in terms of product condition and quantity.
  • Ability to pick up and move stock.
