We are seeking a highly qualified Strategic Human Resources Partner to join our team at MPRTC.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Human Capital, with a degree in a related field of study.

With at least 5 years of experience as a Personnel/HR Officer, the successful candidate will have handled unions, retrenchments, and disciplinary matters up to CCMA level.

A strong understanding of the Bargaining Council for the Metal Industries (MEIBC) is highly advantageous.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective HR strategies to drive business success.

Key qualifications include:

  • Matric with a B. Degree in Human Capital, HR, or related field of study.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Personnel/HR Officer, including handling unions, retrenchments, and disciplinary matters up to CCMA level.
  • Experience with the Bargaining Council for the Metal Industries (MEIBC) is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
  • Proactive, results-driven, organised, with strong attention to detail.
  • High level of ownership, confidentiality, and commitment to people and business.
  • Willingness to travel by air and own car (10-12 nights per annum, could increase).
  • Must be eager to develop and possibly pursue further education in Labour Law.
