Telesales Representative

The successful candidate will be responsible for
- Calling all customers on designated routes before deadlines.
- Planning calls to promote the most effective products and services.
- Ensuring deadlines accurately process all orders.
Detailed Requirements
Key Skills and Knowledge- A sound knowledge of all the company products, particularly top-selling products.
- A thorough understanding of sales deadlines and procedures.
- The ability to maintain accurate records on customer cards to track buying patterns.
- The ability to promote and sell company products effectively.
- The ability to substitute products where out of stock or have low stock and/or send part orders and backorders as necessary.
Additional Responsibilities
- Calling customers back timeously with any order alterations, out of stocks, and/or delivery delays/changes.
- Building good relations with all designated customers.
- Delivering professional and efficient service to all customers, including returning calls, responding to queries and/or problems, etc.
Requirements
- A sound knowledge of pricing structures, uplift procedures, credit note procedures, loading procedures, delivery procedures, and credit control procedures.
- A thorough understanding of company software, particularly pricing, approvals, available stock, stock coming in, printing picking slips and bulk slips, holding orders for the next delivery, uplifts, recording driver communications, and sales/buying information, and the route dashboard.
- The ability to maximize GP (gross profit) and fill trucks on route.
- The ability to communicate and share market-related information with the sales/branch manager and buyers, including above/below market pricing, availability of stock, quality issues, and specification issues, etc.
Company Requirements
- Attendance register completion daily.
- Submission of any required reports accurately, neatly, and on time.
- Immediate reporting of any incidents/complaints to the sales/branch manager both verbally and in writing.
