Description

FirstRand Bank Limited is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, with a strong ability to understand customer needs and process requests efficiently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving net profit growth, delivering exceptional customer experience, and managing the migration of accounts from transactional to Self Service. They will also be expected to manage the growth of active customer Account Base, maximize cross-sell opportunities, and track sales activities to achieve predetermined targets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Achieve net profit growth by identifying business opportunities and implementing effective strategies
  • Deliver exceptional customer experience through prompt service, understanding customer needs, and processing requests efficiently
  • Manage the migration of accounts from transactional to Self Service, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption
  • Manage the growth of active customer Account Base, increasing client base and revenue
  • Maximize cross-sell opportunities by analyzing customer needs and presenting relevant products and services
  • Track sales activities to achieve predetermined targets, monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as needed

Additional responsibilities include providing an efficient administration service, complying with governance requirements, and checking transactions on a daily basis to ensure new business applications are closed within appropriate timelines.

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at R400,000 - R600,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. If you are a motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for business development, we encourage you to apply.
