Job Summary

We seek a creative Digital Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. This role involves developing and executing integrated digital marketing campaigns that foster brand awareness, generate leads, and support our mission of automating business processes for social impact partners.

Main Responsibilities

  • Content Marketing:
    • Collaborate on an overall content strategy and calendar aligned with company goals and objectives
    • Create high-quality sales and marketing collateral, including presentations, brochures, case studies, and other materials
    • Design compelling visuals for marketing campaigns, such as infographics, social media graphics, and video scripts
    • Research, write, and publish engaging content for the company blog, case studies, and monthly newsletter, ensuring clear technical writing that resonates with our audience
  • Social Media Marketing:
    • Develop and implement social media strategies across key platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Community Forums) in collaboration with the Sales team
    • Create engaging social media content, including text, images, and videos
    • Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and respond to inquiries
    • Track and analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Email Marketing:
    • Design, develop, and execute targeted email marketing campaigns using platforms like Mailchimp
    • Segment email lists and personalize messages for maximum impact
    • Track email campaign performance and optimize campaigns based on key metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates)
  • Website Management:
    • Work with an in-house developer to provide input on maintaining and updating the company website, including content updates, visual design enhancements
    • Contribute to website functionality and user experience optimization
  • Event Planning & Management:
    • Assist in planning and executing online and offline events, including webinars, workshops, and conferences
    • Manage event logistics, registration, and support
  • Community Building:
    • Grow and manage our online community, engaging with followers on social media and fostering a sense of community among our audience
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Track and analyze key marketing metrics, including website traffic, social media engagement, email open rates, and conversion rates
    • Generate regular reports on marketing campaign performance and provide insights for optimization
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in digital marketing

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a digital marketing role
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Background in technology and international development with bonus points for direct experience in Health/Govtech/ICT4D and exposure to non-profits and/or NGOs
  • Proficiency in social media marketing best practices and tools
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp)
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and website management (not required but a plus)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for social impact and a strong interest in the non-profit/social sector
  • Proficiency in using data and analytics to inform marketing decisions
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) is a plus
