Job Title: Business Development Consultant

At Hans Mahrt & Company (Pty) Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Consultant to join our team. As a Business Development Consultant, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and strengthening our market presence in South Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to meet sales targets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to grow market share in the region.
  • Attend industry events, networking functions, and conferences to promote our services.
  • Prepare and present proposals and business cases to stakeholders.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to management regarding market needs and competitor activities.

Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Industry-related qualification such as Certificate in Financial Products or Certificate in Short Term Insurance (preferable)
  • RE 5 - Required
  • Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A results-driven approach with a passion for achieving targets and objectives.
