The Central University of Technology, Free State is seeking an experienced Counselling Psychologist (P7) to lead our student services team. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in psychology and HPCSA registration as a Counselling Psychologist.
The role involves providing counselling services to students and staff, as well as developing and implementing policies and procedures related to academic support services. You will also assist with forming strategic partnerships with internal and external service providers and oversee and provide workshops and wellness projects.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Lead the student services team and provide guidance on policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant medical legislation and ethical codes.
- Manage and report on performance indicators.
- Master's degree in psychology with HPCSA registration as a Counselling Psychologist.
- Three years' experience in the provision of student services in a higher education or similar environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
