Key Responsibilities:
  • Revenue Monitoring: Monitor revenue performance, identify peak and valley periods, and analyze daily reports to suggest rate adjustments.
  • Competitor Analysis: Maintain competitor analysis, event diary, and promotions to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Rate Management: Assist with rate inquiries, build rates in Opera PMS, and maintain parity to ensure optimal revenue capture.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare weekly revenue and strategy reports, track statistical information, and review forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Handle rebate requests, manage emails and escalations, and work closely with managers to resolve issues and achieve revenue goals.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in hotel revenue management
  • Hospitality diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a pressured environment
  • Willingness to work shifts when required
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
  • Computer literacy: Opera, Word, and Excel
  • Strong guest-centric approach and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Previous experience with revenue reporting and online travel agents' extranets
  • Understanding of market segmentation and target markets
  • Knowledge of forecasting and budgeting
