A well-settled company is looking for an experienced House Manager, Estate Manager or Butler with a track record that speaks of excellence, backed by impeccable references and formal training for a private HNW family in Cape Town. The position requires management of various estates in Cape Town and is available to the family where they might be staying at a specific estate. **Management style**:

- We rely on you to lead daily household chores and create schedules for yourself and your team.

**Tasks at hand**:

- Your competence in household maintenance involves identifying issues, obtaining competitive quotes for repairs, and addressing the repairs required.
- Attend to the intricacies of laundry, and delicate fabric care, and uphold dinnerware, linen, and furniture.
- Exceptional skills in housekeeping chores and cleaning and directing your team as such
- Your ability to source and evaluate contractors and suppliers for all maintenance and repair tasks on the estates

**Your team**:

- Collaborate with the personal assistant of the family and form a close working relationship
- Collaborate with our professional chef
- Collaborate with the gardener and groundskeepers
- Engage actively in senior staff meetings, contributing your insights.

**Financial tasks**:

- Maintain budgets, record expenses meticulously, and handle monthly accounts with precision.

**Personal tasks**:

- Using initiative is of utmost importance and proactively planning for household events and guest needs, with paramount attention to the employer's requirements.
- Work autonomously when the employers are away, demonstrating your self-sufficiency.
- Navigating travel arrangements and securing lunch reservations
- Provide personal assistance—running errands, coordinating appointments, and more.
- Oversee in-house guests with care and attention, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
- Have an affection for pets and ensure their well-being.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to drive luxury vehicles is a must.
- Contribute to meal service, from table setting to beverage service.

**Qualifications We Require**:

- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Butler/House Manager.
- Relevant training, diplomas, and experience built for the position
- Possession of a full clean driving license and your own vehicle.
- Mastery of the English language.
- Demonstrated excellence through contactable references.
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check.

Accommodation may be available at one of the estates.

A company vehicle will be provided for ad hoc driving needs.

Salary negotiable DOE

**Salary**: R40,000.00 - R60,000.00 per month
