**Responsibilities**:
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships in an effort to grow a portfolio key accounts
- Responsible for the successful roll-out of various critical sales objectives included but not limited to, annual customer price increases and operative/strategic planning
- Ensure continuous communication regarding customer requirements and new products with R&D are coordinated and implemented to improve profitability and customer satisfaction
- Develop and maintain a market model to include existing markets and create a competitive analysis as a basis for operative/strategic planning
**Qualifications**:
- Tertiary qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in key account management/sales role responsible for key accounts
- Sales experience in the manufacturing environment
- Experience managing a team
- Proven track record of successful sales and Key Account Management with robust negotiation skills
- Technical understanding of the chemical, têxtile and / or plastic industry with a strong commercial understanding (sales, marketing, product management)
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP
- Fluent English, basic knowledge of a second language advantageous
