**Key Account Manager Duties and Responsibilities**
- Develop a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and company
- Resolve key client issues and complaints
- Develop a complete understanding of key account needs
- Anticipate key account changes and improvements
- Manage communications between key clients and internal teams
- Manage account team assigned to each client
- Strategically plan to improve client results
- Negotiate contracts with the client and establishing a timeline of performance
- Establish and oversee internal budgets with the company and external budgets with the client
- Work with design, sales team, creative, advertising, logistics, managers, marketing, and team members from other departments dedicated to the same client account to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and all client needs met
- Collaborate with the sales team to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling
- Plan and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training
- Meet all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
- Analyse client data to provide customer relationship management
- Expand relationships and bringing in new clients
- Provide best quality in all deliverables to our clients, follow guidelines of the existing quality management system ISO 9001:2015 on a continuous basis and take the aspects of quality into consideration in the day to day deliverables of work conducted.
**Key Account Manager Requirements and Qualifications**
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Goal-oriented, organized team player
- Encouraging to team and staff; able to mentor and lead
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
- In-depth understanding of company key clients and their position in the industry
- Eager to expand the company with new sales, clients, and territories
- Able to analyse data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions
- Bachelors degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or relevant field; Masters degree preferred
- Four to five years previous work experience in sales, management, key account management, or relevant experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person
- Basic computer skills, and experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on superior Excel skills.
- Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on client contracts
- Ability to multitask and manage more than one client account
- Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
**Responsibilities**
Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
Promote the companys products/services addressing or predicting clients objectives
Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople
**Requirements**:
Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant
role
Proven sales track record
Experience in customer support is a plus
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
Proficiency in English
Market knowledge
Communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build rapport
Time management and planning skills
BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
