✈️ Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a **dynamic and experienced Tour Consultant Team Leader** for a premier inbound luxury Destination Management Company based in Heidelberg, Gauteng.

**Role Description**:
We are seeking an experienced Tour Consultant Team Leader with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the luxury inbound travel market. As a Senior Team Member, you will lead our team of consultants, ensuring outstanding service delivery to our clients.

**This full-time role entails managing inquiries, itinerary planning, creating and managing bookings, coaching and developing team members, overseeing tours, and maintaining supplier relationships.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage a team of consultants
- Distribute and manage new inquiries
- Oversee all aspects of tours from quoting through to post-tour file closure
- Ensure smooth execution of in-country guest tours and provide solutions as needed
- Be on call to problem-solve for in-country guests after hours
- Reconcile cancelled tours and assist with complex costings
- Report on conversion rates and sales
- Set and meet targets
- Work with the Systems Lead on the implementation of DTE systems

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Minimum 5-7 years of managerial experience in luxury inbound travel
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of luxury travel destinations in Southern and/or East Africa
- Proficiency in Tour planning
- Crisis management and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skill
- Solutions-driven mindset
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Motivational leadership style
