To Plan, direct, or coordinate warehousing and related activities across different clients, departments, and shifts. Manage logistics personnel and logistics systems and processes and direct daily operations. Simultaneous management of SLAs and expectations for multiple clients.

**Qualification and Experience**
- ** Bachelor’s degree / NQF level 7 B Com, BSc, Engineering, Business** Studies Minimum of
- **15 years** of Warehousing, Supply Chain, or relevant experience
- Minimum of **5 years of management** experience.
- Deciding and Initiating Action, Leading and Supervising
- Adhering to principles and values, Persuading an Influencing
- Delivering results and meeting customer expectations, Coping with pressures and setbacks.

**KIP**

Operational management:

- Ensure the smooth running of all process area teams within the warehouse
- Responsible for managing the operations within predefined SLAs
- Track, monitor, and interpret operational KPIs
- Identify, define, integrate and lead initiatives across process areas to meet and improve SLA,
process and activity KPIs
- Responsible for managing multiple operations within their budget parameters
- Ensure all stock movement and handling are in line with company and WMS guidelines and
procedures
- Assist with and contribute towards the design and planning of the operational strategy
- Contribute to and assist with SLA preparation and negotiations
- Adherence to QMS
- Identify and execute or assist with Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Responsible for managing client, customer, and supplier representatives
- Establish structures to manage client, customer, and supplier queries; and resolve escalated
issues
- Engage and influence all InSync support functions to coordinate, prioritise and escalate the
necessary support required for the warehouse operations to achieve its targets
- Interpret and administer commercial and legal contractual agreements
- Responsible for facilitating onboarding of new clients into the multi-client warehouse

**People management**:

- Responsible for maintaining a stable warehouse workforce
- To ensure standardised work is followed and employees are trained in SWIs
- To encourage and promote shop floor participation on problem-solving
- To maintain discipline and high levels of daily attendance
- To execute efficient communication as per the communication structure
- To develop a healthy team culture
- Oversee the handling of industrial relations-related issues as senior management
representative, in conjunction with the applicable HR manager
- Develop capabilities of subordinates through ongoing mentoring and coaching
- Conduct performance reviews and identify technical knowledge and skills gaps for
development purposes
- Identify and coach high-potential individuals as part of the InSync talent management and
succession planning processes

**Health and Safety**:

- Responsible for managing the safety, health, and environmental risks of the warehouse
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations
- Ensure workplace neatness and the implementation of the 5S program
- Take responsibility as OHS ACT section 16.2 assignee for the warehouse
- Ensure the warehouse facility, infrastructure and equipment are correctly and timeously
inspected, maintained, and repaired to ensure operational continuity
