A luxury boutique hotel is in search of an experienced Executive Housekeeper.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure that all company policies, procedures & SOPs are adhered to
- Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders
- Prepare & submit budgets
- Plan, direct & control the department, roster staff
- Supervise staff effectively
- Identify training needs & implement training when required
- Ensure that rooms are cleaned efficiently & quickly in order to maximize room occupancy
- Ensure that VIP rooms receive the designated extras
- Ensure an adequate supply of clean linen & in good condition
- Liaise with Resident Manager & notify of areas needing attention & décor
- Ensure that public areas are serviced & cleaned daily
- Responsible for master keys & security of the bedroom floors
- Assist in supervising activities of department personnel, as well as coordination with other operating departments
- Makes daily checks on rooms & other facilities to ensure company standards have been met
- Assist in receiving, storing & control of department supplies, equipment, linen & uniforms
- Performance appraisals/reviews
- Prepare Room Attendant's work duty lists & distribute master keys, ensuring that keys are returned at the end of every shift
- Maintains excellent & courteous relationships with guests
- Report any maintenance defects to the Maintenance Department
- Maintain the highest standard of hygiene within the property
- Any other ad-hoc duties that may be required

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Grade 12 or Matric
- At least 2-3 years experience as an Assistant or Executive Housekeeper in a boutique 5* hotel/lodge environment essential
- Strong leadership skills
- Be hands-on
- In good health and actively fit
- Have clear communication skills - written & verbal
- Excellent attention to detail, initiative & interpersonal skills
- Highly responsible, reliable & trustworthy
- Presentable, well-spoken & professional individual
- Act in good faith & in the best interest of the Company at all times
- High guest-centric approach to ensure overall customer service
- Own transport essential

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: R30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
