**Key Responsibilities**: As the Assistant Executive Housekeeper, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the standards of the housekeeping department and ensuring their guests experience nothing less than exceptional service.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating with the Executive Housekeeper to manage the housekeeping department effectively.
- Setting and maintaining high housekeeping service standards in line with the Executive Housekeeper.
- Ensuring the timely availability of clean rooms, following housekeeping operating standards, and overseeing daily room inspections conducted by Floor Supervisors.
- Conducting regular training sessions for staff on guest service, hygiene, cleanliness, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Leading a large team, fostering teamwork, and encouraging personal accountability.
- Managing various staff processes, including personal presentation, recruitment, performance management, and industrial relations.

**Requirements**: To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

- Matric qualification.
- Flexibility to work various shifts.
- Own transport (advantageous).
- Proficiency in technology, including MS 365 (essential) and Opera (advantageous).
- Proven track record in leading and managing large teams.
- Validated experience in a similar role within the housekeeping department of a busy, up-market hotel (essential).
- Strong background in housekeeping operations, with expertise in cost management, stock monitoring, workforce planning and rostering, industrial relations, recruitment and selection, and daily administration.
