**The role**:
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Technology Team to support a large finance transformation programme. We are in the middle of a multi-year SAP4HANA rollout across our brands, and require a project manager to play a leading role within the programme.

As a Project Manager, you will handle both internal technical teams and 3rd party suppliers, as well as handling the change within the business. You will enable the teams to self-organise, remove impediments, and develop an environment for impactful team dynamics, continuous delivery, and continuous improvement.

You will work closely with collaborators to translate business outcomes into manageable deliveries - handle budgets and build all project artifacts needed to optimally deliver the business outcomes required.

**What you’ll be doing**:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for
- Own delivery for projects including technical and business tasks and outcomes. Work with Third Party Suppliers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners - to drive the right outcomes from your team
- Partner with our businesses, to identify their problems and required outcomes - ensuring clear KPI’s and benefit realisation planning is in place, aligned to the business outcomes
- Focus on delivering value early - fail fast if vital - but always strive to deliver value over excessive debating of options
- Effectively identify and mitigate risks and issues. Identify associated opportunities, actions, and decisions to ensure project delivery is timely with quality.
- Collaborate with third party consultants, technical and business teams to implement, measure, and learn via metrics and retrospectives.
- Work closely with key collaborators to implement the changes, giving due time and attention to the importance of business change management
- Develop budgets, control spend and lead vendor relationships, and prepare status updates as required
- Understand business requirements to optimally identify roadblocks and solutions. Ability to know when to advance issues to the right team and/or person.
- Work collaboratively and use Agile standard methodologies to support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and long-term release planning.
- Employees must be aware of the responsibility placed on them to maintain and balanced and safe working environment for both staff and visitors

**What we are looking for**:

- A bias for action - roll your sleeves up and get things done
- Project leadership experience on concurrent mid to large-scale projects.
- Experience rolling out SaaS solutions, as well as product led development. Experience of a finance system / ERP rollout would be effective
- Experience with the Agile methodology, working with squads, product owners and engineering leads across tech functions.
- Using metrics to drive improvements in processes.
- Experience leading projects across international time zones in a completely virtual environment.
- Good commercial and decision-making skills, with experience of budget control within a CAPEX environment.
- Passionate about solving business problems through the power of technology.
- Written and verbal communication skills including creation and delivery of effective presentations.
- Influencing skills, including experience working within a larger matrixed organization.
- Analytical, relationship building, and problem-solving abilities, and collaborate across team boundaries.
- Communicates optimally with team members, customers, and levels of management.
