Registry Clerk: Physical Record Management

**Job Purpose**:
The Department of Infrastructure, Western Cape Government has opportunities for competent individuals to render a registry service to the Directorate: Knowledge Management. These post are based in Cape Town, CBD.

**Minimum Requirements**:
Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification).

**Recommendation**:
Registry Clerk Course and Relevent experience in the Registry environment.

**Key Performance Areas**:
Opening of physical and electronic files and maintenance of file covers; Correct and neat filing of documentation, including the maintenance of index pages in physical and electronic files; Preparing mail to be posted by folding and franking; Assist the supervisor with the allocation of reference numbers; Handle client enquiries, requests and pending of files; Assist with the administration of systems by adding folders.

**Remuneration**:
R 181 599 per annum (Salary Level 5)
