Role purpose
We are looking for a highly motivated graduate for our 12 month graduate program. The position requires a driven, ambitious team player who enjoys a challenging, fast-paced environment.

Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on- Work together with the Product Owner to plan and execute new initiatives, ensure that the teams have appropriate product and technical specifications captured in the initiative brief,- Work closely with the Product Owner during discovery and refinement sessions, breaking down the work items into value deliverables.- Assist with the coordination of release note information and documentation- Assist with the Agile ceremonies (Sprint review
- and sprint planning sessions)- Attend and participate in the daily scrum meetings and assist engineers with items to ensure they progress (assist with pre-merge testing and regression testing of items)- Liaise with other local and global teams ; Tier 1 support, Product specialist and ensure items they escalate have been triaged, steps of replication added and tested.- Provide feedback on JIRA items to stakeholders (internal and external clients)- Log Feature items in AHA ideas portal for Global review.

Core Skills, Knowledge and Attributes- 65% pass rate in your undergraduate- South African citizenship- No previous participation in a graduate/internship programme- No previous employment in IT EE position- Critical thinker- Good communication skills- Time management- Agile- Willingness to challenge and question existing practices and processes to confirm ongoing relevance or suitable weighting of time and effort.- Attention to detail and capable of combining different items of information to identify problem/solution- Able to illustrate well-developed problem solving skills- Advanced computer literacy skills
**Qualifications**:
- BCom Computer Science / Software Development- IT related qualificationTo be successful in this role you will- A thirst for knowledge- Ability to communicate in a professional manner with all levels of customers and stakeholders, both internal and external- First class attention to detail, with high levels of accuracy- Ability to remain calm and work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines- A self-starter, with the ability to prioritise and take ownership of delivering tasks, as well as the capacity to think out of the norm- Ability to create and provide solutions upon encountering an issue- Passion to challenge current processes and drive positive change, ensuring relevant controls are in place- Able to work collaboratively to support colleagues
