**Salesperson (Tools & Hardware Client Development)**
**Location**: Alberton, Full-time, Field & Office job
**Remuneration**: R8,000 to R15,000 based on sales experience in a similar position + Attractive Commission + Travel and Phone Expenses

**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Visit hardware shops within a 50km radius of Alberton to generate new sales opportunities through cold calling and client outreach.
- Develop and expand a client base for our hardware tools brand.
- Provide technical advice and product information to customers.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business.
- Work closely with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Meet or exceed monthly target goals.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients.
- Negotiate and close deals.
- Build, maintain, and update a personal customer database.
- Keep accurate records of sales activities and follow up with leads.
- Report regularly on sales performance and progress.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless sales process.
**Qualifications**:
- High School Matric Grade 12.
- At least 2 years of sales experience in the hardware industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience with cold calling and direct sales.
- Strong knowledge of hardware tools and related products.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have own transport and a valid driver’s license.
- No criminal records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Fast learner with the ability to work under pressure.
- Resilient and able to handle rejection without getting upset.
- Committed to building and maintaining a customer database.
**Skills**:
- Proficient in Sage ERP software.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new sales tools and techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
