A great government primary school with a very homely environment situated in a beautiful beachside town 15 km from Cape Town city, with 220 learners (1 class per grade) is seeking a Head of School to join their leadership team.

The principal should promote and uphold the high academic achievement of its leaners and actively foster the importance of all sports, arts and culture and e-learning platforms in the school. All the minimum requirements as per WCED must be met in addition to our additional criteria which will count in the applicants favour.

**Our additional criteria are**:
Administrative duties: PRoven experience of WCED administration programmes such as CEMIS/PMPS/QMS/SIP and other WCED admin tasks
- Curriculum Management:_
A sound knowledge of all aspects of academic assessment practices, recording, reporting and promotion and progression requirements. A Keenness to embrace and a knowledge of e-learning and new digital technologies for teaching the school curriculum
Have knowledge of all aspects of school timetabling and its implications
- Financial Management:_
Must have knowledge of financial legislation and WCED financial requirements. Experience in school financial managemetn, financial planning, budgeting and procurement processes to monitor school expenditure and ensure compliance
- Managerial and organisational skills_
Knowledge of and experience in managing the schools resources and infrastructure.
Sound knowledge of the SA Schools Act and WCED policies and procedures
- Leadership_
Proven involvement in school governance structures, school strategic planning and proven record of support towards fostering a cultural diversity with respect to gender/race and culture
- Human Resource Development and Management_
- Learner Discipline_
Hands on experience regarding the development and implementation of a suitable Leaner code of conduct, behaviour modification and disciplinary processes

Experience as a Principal or Deputy will count in your favour
