Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
Welcomes patients and visitors in person or on the telephone and answering or referring inquiries.
Provides Comfort to patients who are anxious, answering patients’ questions, and maintaining the reception area so that it is welcoming.
Helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies. Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Scheduling of appointments and maintaining records and accounts.
Optimizes patients’ satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying team of patient’s arrival.

**Minimum Requirements**:
Grade 12 (an appropriate qualification such as Office
Proven experience as an Office Administrator / Coordinator
Knowledge of and experience in the medical industry is recommended
Willingness to work overtime when required
Advanced computer skills (MS Office)
Excellent planning, organisational, prioritising and coordination skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Accurate numerical and accounting skills
Task, detail and system oriented
