**Stock Controller**

Our client, one of the largest wine cellars in the Stellenbosch area, is looking for a Stock Controller to join their team.

This role’s main purpose is to record and monitor dry goods inbound and outbound movements and stock levels, including transport arrangements where necessary. Ensure customer satisfaction by processing accurate documentation within deadlines. Becoming a part of the Health & Safety Committee. Gemba walks and update of registers.

**Main Duties**:

- Stock holding & Inventory Turnover
- Administration Processes
- Monitoring and reporting on truck schedule (Daily, Weekly & Monthly)
- Assist with record keeping of attendance and clocking to provide HR with accurate time sheets by the due date.
- Reviews warehouse processes and updates procedures accordingly.
- Issues the documentation for removal of excisable finished goods (Customs Authorisation Letter)
- Signing off and Monitoring of Invoices (Transport, etc)
- Provides information of stock status internal and external customers when required.
- Create Purchase Orders. Following with Receipt and E-mail complete package to Finance.
- Send monthly report of OWS Pallet (Returnable) status.
- Picking accuracy & F-Code Reworks
- Monitoring and coordinating of the Picking Process
- Assist with Cycle Counts
- Accurate and on time Stock Adjustments
- Accurate stock transfers between different Statuses
- Ensures efficient stock rotation by utilising the FIFO stock system
- Ensures all stock variances are investigated and reported on.
- Ensures all stock reporting is accurate and up to date.
- Accurate and on time Dry Goods Write-Off processing and arrange for the removing of stock from the WHS & site.
- Accurate and on time processing of Leaker Incidents
- Supervise no F-code for reworks.
- People Management
- Needs to be flexible to supervise and control both dry goods and finished goods employees.
- Health Safety & Housekeeping
- Assist with Audits and closing out of Non-Conformances.
- Manages all transporters of FGs on the site to ensure compliance with HSHG policies
- Ensures all complaints regarding warehouse and distributions are timeously addressed and CAR documents closed out with applicable corrective actions.
- Assists in maintaining the Hygiene Management Procedure (Regular GEMBA walks.)
- Participates on Health and Safety team meetings.
- Complies with company and statutory safety policies and procedures.
- Ensures housekeeping is kept in order and meets required standards.
- Ensures work environment is neat, tidy, and safe.
- Ensures OHS requirements are complied with, and monthly reviews are carried out.
- Assist with stocktaking and cycle counts Dry goods.
- Accurate and up to date stock information on system.
- Accurate, timely flow of documentation and information.
- Accurate time and attendance records.
- Assist with investigations of incidents/ recons.
- Supervise correct pickings for dry goods and see to it, no f-code reworks to be allocated.
- Compliance with all company and statutory policies and procedures

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent etc.
- Diploma in Warehouse and Distribution Management.
- SAGE Experience will be advantageous
- Minimum 2 years’ cellar operating experience in similar environment.
- Diligent work attitude.
- Attention to detail.
- Problem Solving
- Out-of-the-box thinking.
- Ability to supervise.
- Logical thinker.

**Salary**:R20k - R25k p.m (depending on experience)
