A leading group in Digital Marketing is seeking a Stock Controller to maintain optimal stock levels, ensure accurate inventory records, and contribute to the overall efficiency of warehouse operations. Based in Somerset West.

**Duties and responsibilities**:
Inventory Management:

- Effectively manage and maintain inventory using the DEAR system (Cin7 product).
- Ensure accurate and real-time updates of stock levels, transfers, and adjustments.

Stock Control:

- Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to validate inventory accuracy.
- Implement and monitor stock control procedures to minimize discrepancies.

Order Fulfillment:

- Collaborate with the Lead Stock Controller to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless order processing.

Documentation:

- Generate and maintain detailed records of stock movements, receipts, and dispatch.
- Prepare reports on stock levels, consumption, and trends for management.

Communication:

- Effectively communicate with suppliers, internal teams, and management regarding stock-related matters.
- Collaborate with the Lead Stock Controller to optimize stock levels based on demand forecasts.

**Requirements**:

- Matric
- Additional qualifications in logistics or supply chain management desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehousing environment.
- Familiarity with DEAR (Cin7) inventory management system preferred
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends in stock movements.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions to optimize stock levels.
- Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory records and order fulfillment.
- Thoroughness in conducting stock audits and reconciliations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload efficiently.
- Proactive approach to addressing stock-related challenges.
