**DUTIES**:

- Order & Expedite parts from the GLC (warehouse) GROUP (network of branches) as well as external suppliers for all workshop related jobs as requested to do so by the workshop foreman and management
- Follow up daily with the GLC branch controllers for best ETA’s on back-orders
- Update the team and management on the progress or challenges for all outstanding parts on a regular basis
- Reports : Manage the Back-order, Requisition, Open PO and STO reports in regards to all the workshops parts
- Ensure that the Branch and GLC Back-order reports are aligned
- Liase with the GLC on all orders cancellations and follow up to ensure that it is done
- Review all parts received and not collected on a daily basis and ensure that the aging is managed together with the parts & workshop teams
- Action the returns for credits and follow up daily on the outstanding credits to ensure timeous processing out of stock
- Raise tickets for Parts Creation and Pricing requirements as and when required
- General Admin and house keeping
- Stand in for the Parts salesman as and when required
- Be available for standby, stock counts and overtime as and when required

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Matric / Abet Level 4
- Good computer skills with a good competence in Excel, Word, E-mail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Applicants must be self-motivated and resourceful
- Work well in a team
- Ability to work under pressure
- Valid code 8 or higher driver’s licence
