**Job Description Summary**: Sourcing Specialist - Order Fulfilment Specialist (Expeditor) is responsible to manage the supplier schedules, purchase orders and general reporting of supplier activities to ensure the scope of work is delivered safely, according to customers’ quality requirements, on time and within budget. Managing and reporting any risk associated with the purchase order that might affect GE projects and GE’s Customer.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Ensure Supplier Order Fulfilment (On Time Delivery, In Full-Delivery).
- Ensure the orders are delivery with the right Quality on Budget. Manage and monitor suppliers’ manufacturing schedule and report progress updates to internal stakeholders.
- Technical Procurement/Sourcing and Expediting.
- Support Suppliers’ product development.
- Sourcing and Execution of projects to ensure availability of Maintenance spares and Parts.
- Coordinate Engineering documentation required by the suppliers with the Engineering department. (Specs, Drawing, etc)
- Finance alignment on cash milestone recognition.
- Coordinate Commercial Supplier enquiries and support on technical enquiries between Supplier and the organization.
- Participate in Technical adjudication and negotiation of contracts (Purchase Orders) provide inputs as required.
- Supports the Quality team on Nonconformance events, technical /welding issues at Suppliers.
- Utilises technical expertise and judgement to solve problems. Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
- Sourcing Specialist - Supplier Order Fulfilment will be required to travel to suppliers’ facilities occasionally to monitor and verify projects progress and support supplier with problem solving initiatives.
- Not only limited to the above mentioned, People Leader can assign other souring related activities to support the business.
**Required Qualifications**
- This role requires experience in the Sourcing, Planning & Supplier Monitoring.
- Knowledge level is comparable to a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- Technical/Engineering Diploma, Supply Chain Management Diploma or Logistics Diploma.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in an Expediting role - Supply Chain /Sourcing.
- Established strong project management skills.
**Desired Characteristics**
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
